Google Ads consultant · specialist · expert
A Google Ads consultant for the build. A specialist's campaign, without the retainer.
The most valuable thing a Google Ads specialist does is decide how the campaign is built: which keywords carry real intent, how the groups are structured, what to exclude, and whether the budget can work at all.
Omologist sells that part on its own. A complete Search or Performance Max campaign, built for your business and checked by a specialist who has run Google Ads since 2001. You pay once and run it yourself.
One-off price in US dollars · No hourly rate · No retainer · Delivered within 24 hours

Four ways to get a Google Ads expert on your campaign.
Consultant, specialist, freelancer and agency are different ways of paying for the same knowledge. What changes is how you are charged and what you are left with.
| Option | How you pay | How it starts | What you are left with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads consultant | By the hour or the day | A discovery call, then a proposal | Advice. Someone still has to build it |
| Freelance Google Ads specialist | By the hour, the project or the month | Finding one, then vetting work you cannot easily check | A campaign in your account, built to their habits |
| Google Ads agency | A setup fee, then a monthly retainer | A sales process and usually a minimum term | A managed account, for as long as you keep paying |
| An Omologist campaign build | $129, once | A short form about your business | A complete campaign you own, in 24 hours |
The other three are the right answer for some businesses, and the section below says when. The build is for the business that needs the campaign done properly once and intends to run it itself.
What a Google Ads specialist does that a keyword tool does not.
Every build goes through the same ten steps. The hours are not the expensive part. The judgement in each step is, and it is what you are paying a specialist for.
Strategy
What you sell, who buys it, what your margin will carry and why a buyer would choose you. Every later decision follows from this one.
Keyword research, read properly
Live volume, cost and competition in your market. Pulling the numbers is the easy half. Knowing which terms carry intent and which only look cheap because nobody buys from them is the half that takes years.
Intent clusters
Keywords grouped by what the searcher is trying to do. It is the step most self-built campaigns skip, and it decides whether the ad copy can ever be relevant.
Match types
Exact and phrase, chosen term by term. We never use broad match in an initial build.
Structure
Ad groups or asset groups built from the clusters, not from your product menu. Structure is what you cannot fix later without starting again.
Ad copy written to each intent
Headlines and descriptions that answer the intent of the group they sit in, inside Google's character limits.
Negative keywords
The jobseekers, the free hunters, the wrong meaning of a word you never thought about. Knowing what to exclude before it has cost you anything is experience.
Budget forecast
What your budget can realistically buy, and what a lead has to be worth for the numbers to hold. If Google Ads is the wrong platform for you, the build says so.
Landing page readiness
What each page needs fixed before you send paid traffic to it.
Pre-launch checklist
Conversion tracking, locations, schedule, bid strategy, and the defaults Google switches on for you.
Automation does the heavy lifting: keyword expansion, volume and cost validation, character counts. Then a person reads it, because there are calls no system makes reliably. Whether a keyword means what it appears to mean. Whether the brand group protects the right terms. Whether a category is worth bidding on at all.

Is a build the right kind of help?
Not for everyone who searches for a Google Ads consultant. Better to know before you order.
A build fits if
- You are starting Google Ads, or starting again, and want the campaign structured properly from day one
- You will run the account yourself, or someone on your team will
- You want a specialist's decisions without paying for a specialist's month
- You would rather read a finished campaign than sit through a discovery call
- You want to know whether the numbers work before you spend on clicks
Hire a consultant or agency instead if
- You want someone to manage the account every week and report every month
- You want an audit of an account that is already running
- You want to talk it through on a call. We work by email and do not take calls
- You want ongoing advice. We do not review accounts or advise outside a build
- Your account is large enough that one person should be watching it full time
Before the build, Omologist spent ten years as an agency managing Google Ads accounts. Managing accounts month to month only ever helped a handful of businesses at a time, and it priced out the owners and marketers who most needed a campaign built well. The build is that same work, sold once.
The Google Ads expert behind the build.
Sean Cooney has run Google Ads since 2001, when it was close to a keyword box and a handful of settings. He ran it first for his own businesses and the businesses he managed, and for the last ten years as an agency. He has worked through every version since, to Performance Max, Smart Bidding and a system that will spend a budget enthusiastically in the wrong places if nobody tells it otherwise.
He came to paid search from finance. He is a CFA charterholder, held senior client strategy roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management before digital marketing became the whole job.
That is why every build carries a budget forecast. Financial analysis trains you to distrust a number until you know what produced it. Search volume is not demand, and most wasted ad spend comes from treating a keyword tool's output as a finding when it is only a hypothesis.
Sectors worked in
Industrial equipment teaches you quickly that a campaign structure which works for a shoe retailer will quietly waste money for a company selling excavators.
Hiring a Google Ads specialist: the questions.
What is the difference between a Google Ads consultant, a specialist and an expert?
Mostly the label. A consultant usually advises, a specialist or freelancer usually does the work, and expert is a claim either can make. What matters is how long they have run accounts, in which industries, and what you are left with when the engagement ends.
Can I hire you as a Google Ads consultant by the hour?
No. Omologist does not sell hours, calls or retainers. It sells one thing: a complete campaign build for a fixed price, checked by a specialist before it is sent.
Who actually builds my campaign?
Software does the keyword expansion, the volume and cost validation and the character counts. Sean Cooney then reads every build before it is sent and makes the judgement calls. Nothing goes out unattended.
Do you offer a Google Ads audit or account review?
No. We do not review existing accounts or give advice by email. If your account is already running and you want it assessed, a consultant or agency is the right hire.
Do you manage the campaign after it is built?
No, deliberately. You own the campaign and run it yourself. If you later hire a freelancer or an agency to manage it, they start from a properly structured account.
What does it cost compared with a Google Ads freelancer?
A Search or Performance Max build is $129, or $199 for both, in US dollars, paid once. Freelancers and consultants usually charge by the hour or the month, so the comparison depends on how long the job takes them. The pricing page has every total.
Do I need to give you access to my Google Ads account?
No. You receive an editable spreadsheet. Access is only needed if you add the optional $79 upload, where we load the finished campaign into your account, paused.
Which countries do you work with?
Any. Builds use live search data for your own market and currency. Sean has run accounts for businesses in Australia and internationally.
My industry is unusual. Will a build still work?
Unusual is normal. The build starts from your own website and your own search data, and a person reads it before it is sent. Heavy industry, niche B2B and long sales cycles are familiar ground.
What if the build is not right?
Tell us. If we spot a problem in our own review we come back to you before it is sent. If you spot one when it arrives, get in touch and we will work through it and send another reviewed sheet.
